Zim Dancehall artist, King Shaddy, is expected to lead local musicians clash when they clash with ambitious recently promoted ZIFA Central Region Division 1 side Hardrock FC at Baghdad Stadium in Kwekwe this Sunday.
Replicate of the match played between premiership-bound Sheasham FC and the musicians in Gweru recently, the Baghdad clash is also expected to endear soccer lovers from Kwekwe with the moneyed Shephered Chahwanda-owned second-tier side.
HardRock orginising secretary Itai Munyanyi, confirmed the latest developments in an interview with midlandsnews.
“Yes, the boys will be playing the musicians at Baghdad Stadium this Sunday and after the match we are going to have an awards ceremony, honouring our outstanding players for the 2019 season”, Munyanyi said,
HardRock and Hurricane FC (formerly Tongogara), gained promotion into the Central Soccer League from Division 2.
Other notable artists who are expected to battle against HardRock on Sunday include the Joze hitmaker Gusppy Warrior who will deputise King Shady, Shinsoman and Utakataka Express front-man Peter Moyo.
Veteran sports commentator Charles Mabika is expected to grace the occasion.
