MSU first year students nabbed for drugs

Two first year students at Midlands State University students have been arrested on charges possession and use of drugs on the university campus in Gweru.

According to the Chief Security Officer Patrick Chademana a campus janitor responsible for Hostel U on Japan residential unit walked in on Kudzanai Chipamuriwo (R203194G, Agriculture Economics) student and Takunda Malcom Ferera (R 204391J, Insurance and Risk management student) who were smoking dagga.

Chademana added that Phiri then alerted campus security officers on patrol.

The two were interrogated leading to the recovery of a half full satchet of dagga twist.

Campus security then took the duo to Zimbabwe Republic Police Senga station where they were a formal case was opened.

The case is being investigated under case number RRB4563203.
