Kwekwe farmer, businessman Chipere dies

Israel Chipere one of the first beneficiaries of the indigenous people empowerment activities has died, reports midlandsnews.

Chipere who was in his late 50s is reportedly to have died at Kwekwe Hospital some four days ago this according to close family members.

At the time of his death he was running Mapako Mudziva lodge and an eatery express shop near Hunters road flyover along the Kwekwe-Gweru road.

While no official comment could be obtained from his family, it is said Chipere was laid to rest Monday at his farm there in Hunters road.
